HiRise Windows Begins Next Phase of $2.5 Million Skyline Condominium Window Project

Rockville, MD – July 2012 – HiRise Windows has begun the $2.5 million, 300 window group purchase replacement contract at Skyline Plaza, the third building in the iconic Alexandria, Virginia towers to undergo replacement of balcony doors and windows. Including the new contract, over the past 18 months, HiRise has replaced thousands of windows and balcony doors in the three condominium towers that make up Skyline. Glass and aluminum frame balcony terrace doors will replace old swinging steel doors bringing natural light and eliminating gaps that allowed air and dirt to filter into homes and HiRise worked with the associations, management and owners to select finishes consistent with the architecture of the building. According to HiRise Windows President, Kevin Vincent, “The windows and doors at the Skyline Condominiums were purchased from Thermal Windows, Inc. and will make an enormous difference in the amount of natural light, quiet and ease of door operation. Condominium owners at Skyline benefit from extraordinary views and the new windows and doors selected by this group of owners will maximize this extraordinary amenity while also increasing energy efficiency.” HiRise Windows extends its appreciation to Fenestration Analysis & Design for the design, specifications and bid management as well as the owners and managers of the Skyline Condominium for their continued confidence and the opportunity to bring a more energy efficient, brighter and healthier view to their homes.
